ONE PARTNER. CLEAR RESPONSIBILITIES.

Know the next step.

Choosing an IT partner should give you clarity about what happens next, what is included and who owns each action. This is the approach we use to scope and organise a managed relationship with PCFIXIT.

Established in 2007 and based in Burleigh Heads, we support small businesses across the Gold Coast and Tweed, with remote services Australia-wide.

Your journey with PCFIXIT

01 / DISCOVER

Start with the way your business works.

Tell us about your people, locations, key applications and recurring frustrations. We discuss what needs to stay available, what is changing and where you need more confidence in your IT.

The outcome: A shared brief covering priorities, key contacts and the next scoping steps.

02 / DEFINE

Know what you are agreeing to.

We review the proposed service scope across users, devices, Microsoft 365, connectivity and recovery. ProactivCare options are discussed against your needs, with project work, exclusions and commercial terms set out before approval.

The outcome: A written proposal with responsibilities, inclusions and an agreed starting point.

03 / ONBOARD

Make the handover deliberate.

Once the scope is accepted, we plan access, documentation and the transition of supported services. With your authority, we coordinate relevant information with the outgoing provider and identify dependencies before making changes.

The outcome: An onboarding plan covering access, service ownership and how your team requests help.

04 / PROTECT

Address the risks that matter first.

Within the agreed scope, we prioritise identity controls, supported-device management, patching, endpoint protection and backup. Essential Eight and SMB1001 guidance can help organise the discussion; the required controls depend on your environment.

The outcome: A prioritised action list showing agreed work, outstanding risks and any separate remediation.

05 / SUPPORT

Give your people a clear route to help.

Your team needs to know where to report an issue and what information to provide. We document the affected service, assess its business impact and coordinate the next steps. Remote support and onsite work follow your agreement.

The outcome: Tracked support requests and clear communication about progress and actions needed.

06 / REVIEW

Keep the plan relevant as you grow.

New staff, ageing equipment and changing applications can alter your support and security needs. At the review intervals agreed for your service, we revisit priorities, upcoming changes and the work that should be planned next.

The outcome: An updated list of decisions and improvements, with scope and budgets agreed before work begins.

PROACTIVCARE

The right scope for your business.

Readiness. Maturity. Resilience. Start with your requirements, then agree the support and protection your business needs. The proposal records the selected services and responsibilities; the process above does not add services to your contract.

Questions before we begin

How do we move from another IT provider?

Begin with your current agreement, renewal dates and a list of services. We can then scope the handover, authorise access requests and coordinate responsibilities with the outgoing provider. Timing depends on access, supplier cooperation and the work involved.

Will every device or application need to change?

The review identifies what can be supported and where changes are necessary. Required standards, unsupported systems and any remediation costs are discussed in the proposal before you approve the work.

How long does onboarding take?

There is no single timeframe for every business. Device numbers, sites, access, documentation and required remediation affect the schedule. Your onboarding plan sets out the sequence and dependencies.

Which ProactivCare tier should we choose?

We discuss Readiness, Maturity and Resilience against your environment and requirements. Your accepted proposal defines the actual inclusions, response arrangements and any separately priced work.

Does this mean we are certified or compliant?

No. Implementing security controls or using a framework does not itself establish certification or guarantee compliance. Any assessment or certification work requires a separately agreed scope and the relevant evidence.
